Guwahati News Desk: A burmese supari mafia was injured in a police firing at the Saparakata area in Bongaigaon on Tuesday evening.
the incident took place while the police officials took the burmese supari mafia Abdul Hanan to Saparakata for an investigation on burmese betel nut but the accused snatched a service revolver from an officer and started to shoot towards the police.
During the clash, a police officer was injured in the firing incident, and later he was shot in the leg while trying to flee from custody. soon after the incident, the accused was admitted to the Bongaigaon Civil Hospital.
