Guwahati News Desk: A massive drive was conducted against illegal fishing at Rulailbari beel in Cachar district on Saturday.
The drive was conducted jointly by District Fishery Development Officer (DFDO) and Assam Fisheries Development Corporation (AFDC) along with police personnel.
During the massive drive, around 10 numbers of gill nets were seized and the Fisheries department authorities said that the drive was against illegal fishing activities.
