Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad Sangma laid the foundation stone for the Wahiajer Multi-Sports Complex at West Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya on Friday.
The sports complex was funded through the State Plan Scheme and Sports Association of India under Khelo India.
The stadium will help out the sports personalities to built up the young talent from the area as the sports complex will be installed with all needed sports accessories and infrastructures. It will also built up a road for the local young sports talents to built up and make a career in sports.
