Guwahati news desk: The Narcotics Control Bureau on Friday files a lengthy charge sheet in drug-related angle in the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
NCB filed the 12,000 pages charge sheet and the digital format around 50,000 pages in front of a special NDPS court.
The charge sheet named Rhea Chakraborty including 33 others and also contains the statement of 200 witnesses.
After the first arrest made in the case, the NCB had 6 months to file the charge sheet. The case was registered in August after the Enforcement Directorate shared private WhatsApp chats between actor Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and some of Sushant Singh Rajput’s staff on procuring and supplying drugs for the late actor.
During these 6 months, the agency conducted raids in several locations of Maharashtra and claimed to have busted some rackets actively operating in the city and allegedly inside Bollywood.
Out of which actors like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal were among those under the agencyâs radar.
