Guwahati News Desk: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Central Election Committee meeting was held in the national capital to finalise the first list of candidates for five assembly polls on Thursday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah including other senior party leaders were present in the meeting at the party headquarters.
In the meeting, the party is expected to clear all the names of its candidates for the first phase of the polls in the Assam and West Bengal elections.
The Assam Assembly Elections to be held in three phases March 27, April 1 and 6.
