Guwahati News Desk: A special initiative from Deputy Commissioner of Morigaon Seema Rekha Bhuyan and Guwahati based non-governmental organisation (NGO) NEAID handed over 10 Oxygen Concentrators and 100 oximeters for COVID care to be used in government health facilities.
NEAID provided 70 Oxygen Concentrator as a part of its COVID-19 critical gap mitigation support to districts in Assam in collaboration with Pratham and Piramal.
According to the Joint Director of Health Services of Morigaon Dr Rohini Borkotoky, the 10 Oxygen Concentrator will be used to set up a dedicated ward to cure COVID-19 complication and patient who needed further medical attention during recovery.
