Guwahati News Desk: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic around 10,48,742 people received premature death across the world and total number of cases rise to 3,57,33,340 revealed in the latest report by the University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE).

Highest number of COVID-19 cases was reported in the United States with 75,00,964 cases and 2,10,886 death.

India is the second highest worst hit nation in the world with a total cases of 66,84,082 with 1,03,569 death. India is the only country having the fastest recoveries as there is a wide gap between the recovery rate and active cases, announced by the health ministry.

South American nation Brazil is in third position in the list with 49,69,141 COVID-19 cases.
