Guwahati News Desk: The Assam Police has arrested one more person supporting the Taliban on Tuesday.
According to the sources, the accused posted pro-Taliban support on social media. The arrestee works at a tyre shop at Jorabat in Guwahati.
Earlier, 14 persons were immediately booked by Assam Police for allegedly posting objectionable posts in social media supporting the Taliban on Saturday.
Taliban is currently the most trending topic in the world after the banned terrorist group declared by the United States occupied Afghanistan on August 15 by eliminating the Afghan government and capturing the capital city Kabul.
According to the sources, Assam Police arrested supporters from 10 districts in Assam. Among the supporters, three were Maulanas and an MBBS student of Tezpur Medical College and Hospital from Tezpur who originally belongs to Hailakandi.
Assam Police also received some information about another three persons who are staying aboard.
The names of the persons who were immediately arrested by Assam Police after uploads a post on social media for the Taliban. The arrested persons are Maulana Fazul Karim of Darrang district, Abu Bakkar Siddique of Kamrup Rural, Saidul Haque of Kamrup Rural, Jawed Mazumder of Cachar district, Mozidul Islam of Barpeta district, Faruk Hussain Khan of Barpeta district, Saiyad Ahmed of Dhubri district, Arman Hussain of Dhubri district, Nadim Akhtar from Hailakandi district, Khandakar Nur Alom of South Salmara, Maulana Yaseen Khan of Goalpara district, Maulana Basiruddin Laskar of Hojai district, Mujib Uddin from Karimganj district and Mortuza Hussain Khan from Karimganj district.
After the Taliban got complete control over Afghanistan, the Indian Air Force (IAF) immediately started rescue operations for the Indian people who are standard in Afghanistan from August 15. Earlier, the Taliban clarifies about banning import-export with India which can put India at a big loss as already around 22 thousand crores invested in almost 400 projects in Afghanistan.
