Guwahati News Desk: A compounder of tea garden hospital was arrested in Dibrugarh in Assam on Monday for declaring two months old baby dead.
According to the sources, the incident took place at Muttuck Tea Estate garden hospital when the baby was brought to the hospital on Sunday due to the absence of doctors and nurses at that time, the compounder checked the child and later declared dead.
Meanwhile, the baby woke up during the last rites. Immediately the baby was taken to the tea garden hospital again but was shifted to the Assam Medical College & Hospital. The doctors later announced that the baby was brought dead.
