Guwahati News Desk: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Silpukhuri area in Guwahati on Saturday.
According to the sources, the deceased youth was identified as Monjit Deka of Housing Colony in Silpukhuri. The 23-years-old youth used to stay with mother and aunt.
As per sources, Monjit had dinner with his three friends namely Mridul Das, Jayanta Haloi and Uday Shankar Dhar and also consumed alcohol at his home on Friday night. His body was recovered while lying in a pool of blood.
According to his friends, in drunken state after his dinner he went out with a bottle of liquor in his pocket as the bottle fell off from his pocket and broke and received serious injury in his private part and led to his death.
After the body was recovered the Chandmari Police immediately rush on the spot and take a stock of it. As per police they have started investigating the matter to find out the depth of the story.
As per sources, police have not specially tell whether the boy died due to injury or it was a murder.
The city cops brought the three friends of the victim to the Chandmari Police station for questioning.
