Guwahati News Desk: Five accused were arrested by Rangia Police in a joint operation with Nagaon Police for running an organized crime of cyber fraud.
They were operating from their office, known as ‘Sim Swap’ through which they forged articles and information obtained by spying their customers. They even gain access to customer’s bank account and later transfer the money to their accounts.
During the operation, police officials seized rubber stamp, huge numbers of duplicate voter ID and PAN cards.
Cash of 25 thousand, seven mobile handsets and some other incriminating papers were also seized.
