Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal purchases earthen lamps on the eve of Diwali from Kamakhya Gate in Guwahati on Friday.
According to the sources, CM brought 100 numbers of lamps for Rs 250.
Sarbananda Sonowal urges native people to buy earthen lamps from the vendors to support to their businesses.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promoted Vocal for Local, meaning to support all local businesses which will help in growing the economy.
