Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the first phase of the water supply project at Jalukbari in Guwahati on Monday.
The first phase of commissioning of the South West Guwahati Water Supply Project was constructed under JnNurm by Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA).
The total project is worth Rs 407.52 crore and the project will provide water connections to 50,000 residence in the city. People residing from Bhutnath to Maligaon Chariali along the foothills of Kamakhya hill including Kalipur, Pandu, Boripara, Kamakhya Nagar, Adabari, Kamakhya Colony etc are included under the water supply project.
