Guwahati News Desk: The top giant social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others might get stop operating from May 26 in India, sats top officials on Tuesday.
These giant social media platforms failed to comply with the rules notified by the gazette of India under Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code Rules, 2021 which was notified on February 25 this year.
The top officials says, if any social media fails might lose their status and protection in India and become liable for criminal action as per existing laws in India.
