Five arrested in connection with rhino horn trading

Guwahati News Desk: Five people were arrested in connection with rhino horn trading during a joint operation of Kaziranga National Park & Tiger Reserve and Bagori Police outpost on Sunday.

According to the report, the accused were directly linked with the trading of rhino one, as officials started an in-depth investigation to break the connection of illegal trading.

The accused were identified as Anuwar Hussain of Kuthori Rajaali, Akabar Ali of Gohainbari, Sofiqul Islam of Baghmari, Saiful Islam of Kuthori Rajaali and Jaynal Abedin of Kuthori Rajaali.

An FIR has been registered against the five accused.
