Meghalaya CM laid foundation stone for new road in Ri-Bhoi district

Guwahati News Desk: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Kongkal Sangma laid the foundation stone for the up-gradation of the Umling-Patharkhmah Road of Ri-Bhoi district in Meghalaya on Friday.

The construction of the road will be funded by the World Bank as the road is economically important for Meghalaya.

For the last 40 years, the road was unnoticed by the administration as the government have taken an important step in the historic day which will add Meghalaya a step ahead towards development.
