Guwahati News Desk: The government of Delhi has put relaxation on Monday in the capital city as positive cases are declining.
The Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has extended the lockdown for one week but it has allowed restarting few prohibited activities in the capital.
Markets, malls and offices were allowed to open from Monday including the operations of the Delhi metro services was resumed.
The restrictions on such activities were imposed in the capital city earlier on May 10 due to the rising number of cases as COVID patients were facing scarcity of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) during the second wave which leads to complete lockdown and affected the economy.
The capital city reported 381 new COVID-19 positive cases and 34 people succumbed to death on Sunday which is reported to be the lowest in over two months.
