Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M K Stalin visited the zoo of Chennai in Tamil Nadu to take a stock of Asiatic lions on Sunday.

Several Asiatic lions of the State zoo in Chennai were infected with COVID-19.

A nine-year-old lioness named Neela of the Arignar Anna Zoological Park succumbed to the diseases last Monday.

The State government has taken all the needed measures for the speedy recovery of the lions.
