Guwahati News Desk: Masses of people broke out on Twitter on Sunday mainly students from Assam demanding the cancellation of class 10 and class 12 board exams under the State Education Board of Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council (AHSEC).
Over 1.2 million tweets #CancelAssamBoardExams hits social media Twitter on Sunday over the rising cases of COVID-19 in the State.
The tweets increasing and flowing across the Twitter as several States across the nation has already cancelled all board exam amid COVID-19 cases while Assam has not taken any final call whether examinations to take place or not.
Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha and Tamil Nadu have already cancelled their board exam looking at the rising spike of COVID-19 cases.
Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Kerala have already conducted their board exam.
While Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Telangana, Punjab, Tripura including Assam has not decided for conducting board examinations.
