Guwahati News Desk: Photojournalist from Assam Gitika Talukdar shines at Tokyo Olympics as she is the only one representing Northeast India.
Gitika is an eminent sports journalist from Assam who has covered multiple international sports events across the world including Olympics.
Talukdar hails from Nalbari district of Assam and was born in Arunachal Pradesh.
Photojournalist Gitika has been officially selected and accredited for the coverage of the prestigious event at Tokyo Olympics.
Meanwhile, she received financial support from Oil India Limited for the coverage of Tokyo Olympics and all her expenses like flight fare, local transport and accommodation in Tokyo were funded by OIL.
