Guwahati News Desk: In the latest SOP released by the Government of Assam on Tuesday has announced that in all the functions and programmes in the auditorium are allowed only for vaccinated people with a 50 per cent of capacity.
As per latest development, people who have completed both the doses of COVID-19 vaccines can be present in the functions and programmes at auditorium.
The Health and Family Welfare Minister Keshab Mahanta has issued new guidelines which to come into effect from August 18.
In the latest SOP, the curfew timing has been extended from 6 pm to 7 pm across the State including Guwahati City as all the shops, business establishments, commercial complex, market places etc to remain open till 6 pm in the State.
The restriction in the inter-district travels was lifted as only private vehicles are allowed to travel within the district. Meanwhile inter-district travel with Kamrup Metro is still banned. No commercial vehicles are allowed to travel in between the districts.
In Naamghars and temples 50 per cent of devotees were allowed as for worshipping only 20 persons are permitted for one hour at iconic places like Maa Kamakhya Temple, Shiva Doul, Doul Govinda Temple including other places.
All the hotels, restaurants, eateries and resorts to remain open as 50 per cent of customers were allowed at one time.

The passengers do not have to undergo the COVID-19 test who are vaccinated and must produce a vaccinated certificate.
