Guwahati News Desk: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Kimin in Arunachal Pradesh-Assam boder along with Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma by helicopter on Thursday.

Both the minister was welcomed by the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu.

Singh inaugurated 12 road projects and Kimin-Potin road in Lakhimpur district in Assam which will boost the development, industrialization and also will play a vital role to secure the borders area where China is next to it.

The double land of 20 km road was constructed by the Border Roads Organization (BRO).

The newly inaurated road to serve the lower Subansiri districts from Assam.
