Guwahati News Desk: Renowned film-maker from Assam, Dara Ahmed passes away at Apollo Hospital in Guwahati on Monday.
The 72-year-old was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after complaining of continuous chest pain.
Dara Ahmed was known for his popular films like Jakhini, Madhuchanda, Bordoisila, Pratidan, etc.
Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his condolence to his family members. CM Sarma tweets:
