Guwahati News Desk: A tiger escaped from Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR) into the Napaam area near Tezpur University in Tezpur on Tuesday.
Section 144 has imposed in the nearby areas by the administration as forest officials already have started search operations.
According to the officials, the tiger moved towards the Jiabharali area.
At least two people were attacked by the tiger last night. The local people immediately admitted the injured to the nearest hospital with the help of officials.
The tiger is still missing and tensed situation hovers in the Napaam area.
