Guwahati News Desk: A FIR was registered against the PWD Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Bhangagarh Police Station by the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee.
The FIR was lodged against the minister for creating tense among religion and communities as Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has published a video on social media shouting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ while MP Badruddin Ajmal arrived at Silchar Airport on October 6 which was later removed by Facebook and Twitter.
According to the sources, the fact-checkers identified the post to be fake and wrong on the basis of it the FIR was lodged against him.
