Guwahati News Desk: During the visit of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Assam on Monday promised to give free 200 units of electricity per month to the people of Assam if Congress comes back to power in the state.
Priyanka’s visit to Assam was an important part of Assam Assembly Elections which to be held in the state on March 27, April 1 and 6.
Firstly after arriving Guwahati on Monday she directly moved to Kamakhya Temple for seeking prayers. Today she also visited the Sadharu tea garden in Biswanath district of Assam and seen plucking tea leaves along with the tea workers of the garden.
