Nobel Prize for Literature awarded to American poet Louise Glück

Guwahati News Desk: After several years of controversy and scandal for world’s pre-eminent literary accolade the Noble Prize for Literature,2020 has been awarded to American poet Louise Glück.
The permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy, Mats Malm announced the prize in Stockholm. Making the announcement in Twitter page of the Noble Prize, shared, “The 2020 Noble Prize in Literature is awarded to the American poet Louise Glück ‘for her unmistakable poetic voice that with austere beauty makes individual existence universal’.”
