Guwahati News Desk: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued a notification on Friday that all the candidates appearing in examinations and interviews by APSC will be required to bring an RT-PCR COVID negative report along with them.
According to the notification, the test must be taken within 3 days before the examination or interview. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the State, the decision was taken as safety is the major priority for the candidates during the examination.
The notification further informed that all candidates must wear a mandatory face mask or face shield including hand gloves during the interview and examination time.
During this time a social distance of 6 ft is most needed at the premises. The examinations dates of APSC have yet not been declared but are to be released soon on the official website.
The pandemic has hit the education system in Assam and all across the nation as many students of different colleges and universities in the State are appearing for the online examination.
Although online examination for APSC is not possible because it selects the best and the top candidates who will further put their effort to run the State administration in the high-ranked government-designated positions.
