Guwahati News Desk: ‘Tezor Tukura’ an upcoming fantasy horror film directed by Chinmoy Barma soon to release its teaser for their fans.
The film portrays the tale of a wicked old lady and her succeeding generations produced under the banner of Eastside Productions of Guwahati.
The production work of the film is already completed and the post-production work is underway.

About the production house and the producer:
Eastside Productions is a production house based in Guwahati. They are basically involved in the production of advertisements, documentaries, travelogues, fiction, and various other nonfiction content. The production house was founded by Reeky Sharma, Prayash Sharma Tamuly, and Upamanyoo Das.
Reeky Sharma is an audio-visual content creator and also an established voice-over artist and stage and television anchor of the region.

The puppets: Breaking the suspense at the very first instance, our film is based on the director Chinmoy Barma’s take on his experimentation with puppetry.
The five puppets, sculpted and styled by Himakshi Barmah are the ultimate entity to behold in the entire film. Unlike the Putala Nach, there’s no puppeteer hired here.
Dikshita Rajbongshi: Dikshita Rajbongshi is an aspiring actor and a Mass Communication and Journalism student of Cotton University. She has acted in numerous short films namely “Bala, Adsence of Love”, “Ghorapak” and “Xaforor Kotha” (Tales with a Lid) and has also received various accolades in several national and international film festivals. She has also worked as the assistant director on the film ‘Xaforor Kotha’.

Chinmoy Barma – Writer/ Director: Chinmoy Barma is an Indian filmmaker, art blogger, mechanical engineer, writer, the creator of the Assamese folk horror short film “Ghorapak”, which has been lauded and acclaimed hugely for its style and storytelling.
Other films by the director are – FLIP (2014) XAATHOR (2015), SEVENTH SIN (2016), FIRQA PARASTI (2017), MOROME RINGIAAI (2019), GHORAPAK (2020), TEZOR TUKURA (2021).
Poree Das – Script/Screenplay/Dialogues: An aspiring poet, writer, and a literateur from Jorhat, Assam, India, Poree have started to wing her realm of imagination in ink and paper since she was ten. She made her first step towards the field of songwriting through her song Loi Ja, by Kaysee and Basshole. ‘Tezor Tukura’ is her debut film as a scriptwriter.
Upam Das: Cinematographer/ Editor/ VFX/ Colourist.
Upam Das is primarily an editor, a photographer, a videographer, and a colourist hailing from Nalbari, Assam. He has worked as a cinematographer, editor, and VFX artist in almost all of the recent films by Chinmoy Barma namely “Morome Ringiaai”, “Ghorapak”, “Tezor Tukura” and he will also be working for “Jokhini”, another film by Barma. He is also into making hip-hop music videos.
Nazneen Ullah: Vocals, Violin and Background Music.
A record Holder in the “Assam Book of Records” for acquiring the highest number of degrees in her age group, Nazneen happens to be a vocalist, violinist, and a composer, who has lent her voice for “Ghorapak”, “Jokhini” and “Tezor Tukura”.
Mandeep Tr (Basshole): Background Score.
Mandeep Taro popularly known as Basshole, is a multi-genre beat scientist from Guwahati, the gateway to the Northeastern part of India. Born as a Leo in 1994, Basshole’s catalogue speaks volumes of his sonic diversity which also includes collaborating with some of India’s leading, emerging, and unique voices. Besides producing hit singles and albums, he also has been scoring background music for films and content for OTT platforms.
