Guwahati News Desk: The Assam Rifles arrested two drug peddlers and seized 22 grams of drugs in Tinsukia, Assam, Sunday morning.

The drug peddlers were arrested from Tirap Colliery under Margherita Sub Division in Tinsukia. 

A total of 22 grams of narcotics were recovered from their hands. Besides this, total cash amounting to Rs 15,000 and a motorcycle were also seized.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Kamakhya Moran of Tekeri village Pengree and Dadu Mia of Namrup, Dibrugarh District.

They have been handed over to Ledo Police Outpost, and currently, further investigation is in process.
