Guwahati News Desk: YouTuber Paras Singh has reached Itanagar of Arunachal Pradesh from Ludhiana, Punjab on Thursday night for allegedly making a racial comment on Arunachal Pradesh and its MLA Ninong Ering.
The racial comment was made after MLA Ninong Ering asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban the relaunch of PUBG Mobile, India’s new game Battleground Mobile India.
The racial slur was published on his YouTube channel and later it got viral across the country and sparked controversy, however he was immediately arrested by the Punjab Police.
A three-member investigation team led by Inspector Techi Vijay brought Paras to the State’s capital after successfully getting a transit remand.
According to the sources, Paras will be interrogated by SIT and on Saturday he will be produced at the court.
The Arunachal Pradesh Police has registered a case under Sections 124 A, 153 A and 505 (2) of the Indian Panel Court.
