Guwahati News Desk: Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation Devashish Sharma has visited the three water treatment plants of GMC at Kamakhya, Panbazar and Satpukhuri to take stock of them in Guwahati.
Sharma was assisted by the officials of the Water Works Department as it was augmenting the water treatment system and cater to water needs for a majority of the city residence which is 25 per cent approx to date.
The Commissioner requested the SE of the Water Works Department to come up with a pragmatic proposal which to is taken up in the next review meeting.
