Guwahati News Desk: A National Liberation Front of Bodoland (NLFB) militant was attested by Guwahati Police in Noonmati on Sunday.
The NLFB used to work as a Rapido driver in the city to carry out their organisational work.
The 32-year-old identified as Deepak Chaudhary who was arrested during a special operation took out by the Guwahati Police at Shalbari area of Noonmati.
During the operation, the police officials seized a black Bajaj Pulsar bearing registration number AS-01-EK-1531 including a 9MM pistol with bullets and objectionable documents.
Deepak hails from Baksa district who came to Guwahati three months ago, was staying at his relative’s home.
The court remanded Deepak six days of police custody.
