declared Sister André, who was born on February 11, 1904, to be the world’s oldest living person. During World War II, Sister André worked as a teacher, governess, and nanny.
Before becoming a Catholic nun, she spent 28 years working with orphans and elderly people at a hospital.
Sister Andre is also the world’s oldest Covid survivor, in addition to being the world’s oldest person and the world’s oldest nun.
The oldest lady adores sweets and chocolate, as well as a glass of wine every day, according to Guinness World Records.
A member of her care home’s staff stated: “Her glass of wine maintains her and that is perhaps her longevity secret. I don’t know – I don’t encourage people to drink a glass of wine everyday!”
